It's been all over the news here since they escaped, the reward grew to over $100K. News here also reported that the two wandered into a "rural hunting community." One of the neighbors told a reporter that if they had heard shots, everyone in that area would have provided armed response.

The reporter said AR-16. I thought it odd too, but apparently it does exist.

Local news said the state of Georgia was "reviewing" the contingency of the reward. Sounds like they will try to screw the guy out of the reward.
