I believe my Golden Lab will cross the bridge tonight. We have been out of town and got back a few hours ago. I didn't think too much about it when she didn't come to the fence but when I went out to feed them she did not show. I went looking for her and found her behind one of the little building. I carried her up to the patio and am sitting with her, taking and petting her. Her breathing is rapid and shallow and she won't stand.
She was born New Year's Day, 2006. Her dad was a Lab and her mom a Golden. Gonna be a long night.
