If you saw the floor in the videos of my Olds engine, you noticed I had a water leak.

The fitting close to the bottom of the tank was making and replacing the rubber washers. That worked well with no drama. :yesnod:

I had two very small pin holes in the bottom of the tank. When I checked them with an ice pick, the opened up to about 1/4" or so. No big deal, I can tig weld that. :seasix:

Get those welded up and two more "magically" appear. :leaving:

So now I welding close to where a solder repair was done who knows how many decades ago. More holes appear but I got them. :hurray:

Well I got them on the bottom of the tank but one appeared on the outside of the tank

F this shit, I'm done chasing leaks. I made another rubber washer about an inch in diameter, put an old flat head screw thru it so I can put a nut on the inside.

But the tank is about 4' tall and my arms aren't that long. I duct tape a set of visegrips to a piece of metal to hold the nut and after about a hour of using the "universal adjective" :D , I get it started.

A bit of undercoating on the washer and tightened up. I then spray bombed the inside with undercoating and I should be good to go :hurray:
