I agree. When Dave first started out, during his "late, late show" days he was very funny. Dropping shit off of buildings, will it float?, stupid human tricks. It's sad what happened to him later on. Toward the end he wasn't funny, just vitriolic.

I watched him on the Johnny Carson show. I always felt he had a mean streak in him.

I tried to watch him a few times when he had his own show. Never liked it or him.
