Panasonic Extends Warranty on Pro LCDs
Panasonic announced Thursday that it is extending the warranty for 42-Inch and 47-Inch Professional LCDs to five years from the previous two. The offer applies to the TH-42LF20U (42-inch) and TH-47LF20U (47-inch) professional LCDs.
The offer is good through Sept. 30.
"With the LF20 Series of professional LCDs, we have already provided customers with a top of the line display solution for any and all of their digital signage needs,” Rick Albert, VP of Sales for the Professional Display Solutions group, said as part of the announcement. “With our new, limited 5-year warranty, we can now also provide our customers with an industry leading guarantee on those displays as well.”

LG Adds Wireless Charging Pad
LG has announced the Wireless Charging Pad (WCP-700), the company's first product of its kind.
The product features an LED light that indicates charging status depending on the displayed color.
The company did not announce pricing or a release date.
