Finally fabricated the base plate and got it installed.........used flag pole worked great..........25lb birdhouse!

That's funny, in that years ago, wife wanted a bird house/feeder out back, so a iron pipe and a hose clamp to keep an old chrome air cleaner lid from a carb'd car from sliding all the way down, that stopped the tree rats just fine, then I put the house/feeder up top, tell you what though, I had to move it as the bushes I planted grew to large, the rats could jump about 6' from the bushes to the feeder.....we saw that and about flipped out....:issues::lol:

so moved it to center of the yard....jump THAT, you little bushy tailed rats.....

Yep, its for the PMs.
We have houses and feeders for them all
Good to keep the blood suckers down and they keep the garden pest free
That was a $10 auction buy, galvanized metal roof
Free pole, metal I have had and 2 sticks of weld metal...
Tree rats can jump way far!

Growing up my parents had one of those bird houses. Never saw any birds coming or going from it. Hope you have better luck and lots of birds. :seasix:
