My home internet isnt working... Again, happens at least once a month. Last time it was because somebody at the cell site shut off our service. This time they dont know, but their schedule software is down so they don't know when they will be able to send a technician to my house. Awesome, I told them if my internet isn't working by tomorrow and I don't expect to be billed for the month.

Usaa can suck it, too.
I was looking at buying a new car again, and usaa now base thier loan cost on the base vehicle value, so if you take a Ford Focus, it does not matter which trim, you now cannot loan more the $18k to buy the car, even if the sticker is $19,700.

It's just one thing after another in your life isn't it?

Not meaning to be judgemental...but maybe you need to refocus on your outlook.

good luck.

Well, if you finance 100% you will have to buy gap insurance anyway so this is really not as bad as it sounds.

It's about time lenders started requiring borrowers tho have some skin in the game.

I think that they loan close to 100% of value on a car, but who in their right mind would pay sticker?

Check pentagon federal credit union. They have much better rates than USAA.

IMO, if you don't have at least $1,700 to put down, you have no business in a $19,700 vehicle.

OUCH! You got :hump: on that deal.

I guess if you have the money and you want one NOW, it's no big deal.

I have USAA and I am pre-approved to buy just about anything I want. They don't care what model or level of trim I want. All I have to do is call and tell them where to send the cashier's check.

Same here and they keep reminding me of that every time I call them.

it does not.

Then USAA just hates YOU. I get the deal where I call, tell them where to send the check, and drive off for just about anything I want.

that's how it's been when we bought all our cars through USAA before.
This time, they asked for the VIN # of the car I was looking at, and informed that hat was most I could borrow against it.

I just bought a car a few weeks ago. It was a fully loaded BMW, and all USAA wanted to know was the final cost and where to send the check. Maybe you are overextended on your credit?

For a moment I forgot I was on VBOT - and was questioning why anyone would finance a vehicle over just writing a check for the full amount. :)
