Reporters turn to ridiculing White House Easter eggs

Pastel versions of the official egg are $8.50. A gold version is $14.95.

The eggs will feature the signature of President Trump and First lady Melania Trump. The seemingly innocuous announcement triggered public hackles from mainstream media reporters.

New York Times reporter Julie Davis: “Forget those silly pastel/rainbow colors of White House East Egg Rolls past; Trump’s Easter eggs will be GOLD.”

But it turns out the Trump-hating reporters have egg on their faces: Obama sold gold eggs first.

After firing off her initial tweet, Julie Davis actually did some research and discovered gold eggs were available for sale last year:

Davis conceded the gold eggs are “not a Trump innovation.”

Were the reporters so upset or sarcastic when Obama sold them last year?

An Extinction Burst refers to one's reaction to a stimulus that once produced positive reinforcements, but now ceases to exist. If an individual responds to a particular stimulus and is rewarded for his response, he will continue to react appropriately even after the reward ceases.

With the positive reinforcement of a reward for the behavior disappearing, they are getting more and more frantic in their efforts. In the past, it was easy to bash conservatives without any negative impact. During the obama years, this increased exponentially. Not only were there not any consequences, there was ample positive reinforcement and incentive to increase the behavior. Same reason bullies learn to rely on their bullying; they are rewarded for it. And like a bully who has had his victim not only stand up to him, but soundly land him on his ass, they are now at a loss as to what to do. All they know how to do, is to do the same. The more flexible and intelligent of the lot will learn and give up the fight, but the core will keep on frantically trying. Ideology dies hard, no matter how absurd it may be.
