Tuesday Snow. The snow could be heavy at times. Areas of blowing snow. High near 29. Blustery, with a northeast wind 18 to 24 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 11 to 17 inches possible.

Tuesday Night Scattered snow showers, mainly before 2am. Areas of blowing snow after 8pm. Cloudy, with a low around 20. Northwest wind 9 to 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.

The worst part is I live on the county line where three counties meet so my rural area isn't very high on the "must plow" list. They'll get here but not right away. :kick:

We're good here too. Propane cooking stove , freezer full of food, generator plus oil heat that only requires a flame ( Franco - Belge oil burner )

Plan ahead and it's no big deal :seasix:

Should be a good dumpin' but the trucks are topped off with gas, we already have loads of food (there's 5 of us under one roof) and the snow blower fired on it's first pull this afternoon.

Finally got the boat covered and in storage until it's warmer.
I do miss FL.....

Just heard from a firefighter friend that a car took out a pole on RT 4 in Nottingham. Hopefully they will have power back soon. Not bothering with the generator just yet, but it is ready to go! Supposed to be voting in Barrington tonight, but already cancelled.

We lucked out as it changed from snow to snow/sleet for a few hours this morning. Kept the totals down to about 10" or so :dance:

After I was done with my driveway, I went over to the new neighbors who moved in the beginning of last month. I cleared his driveway with the Cub Cadet and introduced myself. ( he shoveled it earlier but it was blowing shut )

Will offered me money but I just smiled and said "First one is free" :lol: He was mighty impressed with the Cub Cadet and wants to get his own. :D

It's not a real bill, it's satire, put together by a local female politician, designed to draw attention to Texas' several laws that pretty much harass women seeking abortions, and the abortionists that provide the abortions. We make those women undergo a medically unnecessary ultrasound, and make the abortion doctors go over a pamphlet about abortion with each woman before they do the deed....oh, and we have a mandatory waiting period, too.

In the satire bill, she makes men get a colonoscopy when they present to um, well, do their thing, in an approved medical facility, as well as mandates that a pamphlet be given to the men and the contents of the pamphletbe read to the men.

Whatever you think of the issue itself, the spoof bill is pretty clever.
