My brother in law got a pair of those last year and was showing them off. I said something to the same effect, and his face just kinda dropped... and the excitement of his newly aquired dual purpose footwear bottle opening flops quickly wore off!!

Im partial to the Volcom Peabody 2 Creedlers, but they stopped making them. I ordered about a dozen pairs from Amazon when I heard they went out of production. I wear them down until they fall apart.

Umm, has no one discovered that most beer bottles have twist off caps?

The need for bottle openers has pretty much gone the way of the need for 8-track tapes.


Edit: I never understood the allure of flip flops, anyway. After walking around for a while, your feet still get dirty anyway, with the grit of modern life that inevitably covers your feet.

Shoes FTW.
