I live about a mile from the lake in the city of Lakeport. There have been some evacuations along the waterfront. With the saturation level we now have every inch of rain puts three inches in the lake. When the dam is fully open, which it has been for awhile, they can lower the lake level one inch in 24 hrs. You do the math.

Damn.
It does beat being on fire.:yesnod:
So far, most of the areas that are flooded are one or two blocks from the water's edge. They were built a long time ago when building codes allowed building that low. The current standard is about five feet higher. In the 25 years I have lived here, these areas have flooded about a half dozen times, so at least these people are used to it. We should be okay here. One good thing about a mobile home is it's elevated, so even if some water got into the park, the house itself would be okay. There's a few inches of water in a low spot in the street about 200 yards from us.
