When I lived at my other house, it was half a twin. The other half was owned by a high school science teacher.

I had just had my '72 Monte Carlo repainted and had it parked in the driveway in August when we left for a week in Florida.

When I got back, I immediately saw it had been egged earlier in the week. Not only did the egg shells make impact marks but egg hit every single panel on the car.

Insurance paid for a complete repaint. It's a good thing I never found out who did it. :issues:

Yep.
Dude loosened my rear lugs on one side of my '75 Nova.
I was racing another guy and the rear wheel was passing me. :wtf:
FF to a week later.
Dude ended up in the hospital getting stitches inside and outside his mouth. Just one punch.
Fk'n azzhole is lucky that I didn't kill him. Well, maybe I'm lucky.
I was 18 at the time.

When I was getting back on my feet from damn near being homeless and unemployed, I had an old Jetta that got me around.

Left it in a parking garage and a couple kids smashed the side window, stole my aftermarket stereo and almost got speakers too.

Nice little fuggers took the time to pop my hood and rip and slash wires and hoses.
Also took a piss in my backseat for me.

Some drunk assholes at a hotel in Kentucky unplugged all the computers in my rental car. :leaving: does that count?

Had my car egged a few times in high school.

My wife had a tire slashed on her car at work when she was organizing a vote to decertify the SEIU at the hospital where she worked. She won the vote. That's right, my wife took on the union thugs and won.:yesnod:

Not really sabotaged, but a few years back while at a party, I had a couple friends jack up one side of my Impala (to get underneath) & put several very long zip ties around my driveshaft. Made one hell of a racket when I left their house. :yesnod: :funnier:

I had chased a 76 low mileage Coupe De Ville owned by a little old lady in the condo I lived in for about 5 years and one day she agreed to sell it to me. It was mint save a faded firemist cinnamon rare paint color. After I bought it I had it painted and it looked BRAND new. The first night I had it home I parked it on the street in our secluded little neighborhood some asshole went around it with a key/knife/? and scratched every panel on the car.
I was so depressed that I sold the car in the next few days..... Good thing I never found out who did it. :issues:

Back in the late sixties at the drag strip my car (67 Dodge RT 440) dominated its class. Car was running real good! We left the pit area to go to the snackbar for lunch and when I got back I saw this person under the hood.

Now hood was down when I left. Made it over to the car and slammed the hood down hard on this idiot. I then raised the hood and he staggered out hands in fists. He wisely realized I was big in good shape also ready to battle and he wisely backed down mumbling something like hey man nice car I was only admiring the engine.

All looked good under the hood but I had a little time before eliminations started and I went and made a test run. Car was very sluggish, checked and found he had jammed the linkage so that the back two barrels would not open. I told my buddy to watch my car and I went looking for the punk who has sabotaged my car.

Lucky for him he decided to leave because i would have done a number on him, sorry to this day I did not do it after I slammed the hood on him.

Fixed the carb and won my class as usual. I never saw the punk again and I looked good every time i went to the drags or a car show.

My brother and his buddy caught this young punk taking a piss into his 60 Corvette long ago. We usually left the tops down in those warm summer days.....They whacked him a few times, and took him to a nearby bridge where they held him over the edge by his feet and asked him about how short life can be! Took all the money he had in his wallet for cleaning the car's interiour. :yesnod:....... I'm sure he never did anything that stupid again. :slap:

My wife won a pickup truck in 1994, and I traded it and another vehicle for a new Mazda pickup. A guy I knew was jealous and I'm about 99% sure he was the one to take a beer bottle cap down the passenger side, digging in so hard that it scraped into the metal. Had the truck for one week. Of course he denied it but I know it was him.

Had a tire slashed by a bouncer at a night club because he was stupid enough to cheat on his girl and I caught him. I called her and let her know. I guess when she confronted him she threw me under the bus.

OK, long story.....

Long time ago, I got twisted around in a business deal, involving 3 ex.mil types here in OP, SW burb of Jax Florida....they basically stole a bunch of money from me, under false presences since there was nothing I could do legally other than get a court order to get the bank/checking account evidence as to what happened to my $$$, I got that information, and so went public with it at cruise nights, it was an 'investment' in a supposed ongoing hotrod shop...it had a very large presence and good rep in the area....supposedly....turns to find out it was anything BUT, but me being in town only a bit over a year, I did not know this inside info.....and my EX/kids mom put pressure on me then also....wonderful timing on her part...bitch....

SO, having spread the info around, I essentially poisoned the entire operation for the fraud they were....they would spike my tires with nails in the tread every time I came around, leading up to the exposure.....that's when I went public on their asses.....so NOW you all know the background....

2/20/16, just about a year ago, my '72 vette was backed over in a bank parking lot, by a customer who was at least nice enough to stop and give out insurance information....they paid......SO I got a recommendation to take it to a local dealer, as the head of the body shop was supposed to be an old fiberglass expert from way back, and used to have his own body shop....

they kept the car 2 weeks and didn't do shit, patched up the right front fender and a bit of the nose, but missed stress cracks on the left front....and insisted on a 1300 buck Eckler's hood replacement.....I pulled the car out of there, and settled up with them......

BUT, the aftermath of this don't even involve the body work, I went to one guy who was total crap, then found a glass magician....who did fine, and so off to Macco for a shoot to get the entire car the same color....

NOW, for the rest of the story, I driving the car per usual, and engine started exhibiting starting problems....like it was a bad battery, or starter, went through that crap, and it HAD a gear reduction starter on it....well one stock starter and one battery later, car seemed to run like a charm that morning, 4 hours later, it was hydro lock, the stock heavy starter did not fail, it just did not turn the engine over, and neither did it suck the battery down to 5 volts like the gear reduction starter .......

I had noticed the coolant level was an issue in the car all of a sudden....continued all summer long, about Sept. last year I finally noticed the two front bolts on the SBC intake were totally loose, forward one on driver side is hidden my throttle body linkage and hard to spot, unless looking for it, the adjacent was not tight a ALL....so the intake gasket was leaking all along, and in fact it was hydro locking on me.....I pulled intake and found green water all over the intake and down the opposing cyl head in fact....right through the plenum BTW, it is a LT1 induction DPFI from a '88+ vette with an HEI in back, like God intended.....
it had been on the car for some 8+ years, no problems at all.....

pulled the heads and found the #1 head gasket was destroyed also....off to the machine shop, and so got it all together, ran fine....so WHO loosened the bolts?? Gordon Chevy/staff....leftover bastards from the hotrod shop...bet on that.....:issues:

Since then, the alternator cost Auto Zone a lifetime warranty exchange, I had it apart, and it was totally fried internal with rust, to the point I suspect they sprayed water into it....I even found brown patch on the bottom side of the alt...the rotor was fried black on the normal copper looking windings.....never seen THAT before, strange in that the bearings gave it up, but the thing still charged.....

2 weeks later the idler pulley on the tensioner gave it up also, that was early this week......obviously the oil/filter coolent/water and all changed out.....

also new plugs....

it is impossible those two front bolts worked themselves loose like that, one was up about 3/16 inch or so, the washer spun, and so did the bolt the inner bolt was only slightly snug, but more visible

Gordon Chevrolet on Blanding Blvd ......:issues:

OH, edit, Steve Szala and his wife both died of THROAT cancer, and yet another crooked 'friend' in an unrelated incident....dies of BRAIN cancer.....

I remember that phone call. And the cussing when the new top leaked in a hurricane.

I can't remember for sure which car it was back 20 years ago, when prepping to move to Florida, was it the '72 vette with hardtop on it?? or the '70 Lemans Sport convertible/GTO that I drove through a hurry-caine on the way south....

 BUT, strangely enough the top never leaked a bit.....

I know that wrapping the top of the vette windshield, that stainless 2 piece molding setup....it would leak like mad, so I followed the Lemans setup and wrapped in black vinyl...stopped the leaking entirely.....:hurray:

Well, the saga continues.....the brakes failed, the Hydro Boost unit on the Pirate Jack Racing aluminum master cyl. the master cyl was bad....

got a new one locally here, cast iron....took both of them apart to examine the old aluminum one...measured very carefully and inspected the bore of course, and so transferred the new guts into the old housing....works fine so far....

so down to what failed.....as you know these are dual m/cyl in that front brakes are up front, and rear are will in rear to get activated first.....all I had was rear brakes and the pedal on the floor, damn nearly.....

pulled it apart and the front lip seal on the front piston was severely damaged, gouged out and rubber torn on one spot, right under the fluid ports from the reservoir up top.....by the looks of all the rest of the rubber the thing was fine all around, the front seal was sabotaged....stick a wire/icepick in the fluid hole, and tear the seal...just enough to last a little while......Easy to tell by looking at it....:issues:
