For the brotha's (and sista's) that live in the southern states I thought I would post a "side by side" photo from the front porch of my rental house taken of a little wishing well that hides our real well pump.

The winter photo is from the blizzard that came through here (northern Illinois) and then a photo taken just moments ago with spring starting to come.

Though this shows about 3.5 foot of snow, we actually had some drifts in the 4 to 5' range. This just give a visual example.

You can see our lane is fully snowed in also - about 100 yards to the blacktop road out front.

Now you understand the LOW mileage northern Vettes

BTW, have had my car out a couple of times this week - and it feels great to get behind the wheel again.

Now, I was going to add a frozen cat and started a google search and I found this pussie. Hmm I would love to heat her up if she is cold. My next girlfriend is going to wear a cat costume.

Two words: Phuck That!

We love the snow (me, my wife and kids) but if it snowed three feet here, we would all die inside a week.

Did anybody recall this story from Canada recently? They found some dog frozen in a block of ice- I don't know if it died naturally and somebody threw the body in a tub of water, it got thrown in alive, or if it fell through some thin ice and froze, but there was a dog-cicle found up there somewhere:
