I would start with getting rid of Jim Beam, as I don't care for their products.

Then I'd start on the Buffalo Trace because I haven't had that product yet. Then Heavenly Hill, then Wild Turkey, the Four Roses, then 1792, then Maker's and finish up with Woodford Reserve.

Easy for me: none of the above. :D

I would like the bottles when they're empty though. :yesnod:

:iagree:

In general I like the Beam products, but black is nothing special. Out of that selection, I'll start with Four Roses single barrel

I've never understood supporting a home bar stocked with this, that and everything else.

I serve Jack Daniels, neat or over ice.

Anything mixed gets cheap bourbon & mixer.

Wine? Depends on the fare du jour.

And that's that...

I have all those and more, but lately my go-to is Bulleit 10. Not crazy expensive, but good and good for you.

This big picture with all the background bottles as well was what I went to work everyday with at my bar......And trust me, I tried each and every one of them on many occasions! :drunk:

Probably why I don't hardly ever touch the stuff now. Special occasions I may have one or two max. I don't know how my liver made it through those years unscathed....

so... do any of you use those "stones" that seem to be popular these days ?

Nope. No ice either.

I have some, but usually use ice.

Same here, we have stones and also the stainless steel cubes, but ice is normally the preference. I'm currently enjoying a barrel proof small batch Elijah Craig at 139.4 proof, so a little ice melt helps mellow it out

on the stones... do you freeze them first?

I mean... are they mainly to chill (without the dilution that ice would add)... or are they mostly for flavoring ?

I have a set of stones in my freezer. They've been there for at least 5 years. Have used them once or twice.
