I too have come close. Sigh.
Bummer. You think a need to tweak the computer, software, whatever, to get a few high payouts once in a while would be in order? It's not like it's real money.........duh.

That would be nice. I think the best I have ever done is a Full House, and a Flush a few times...

You should be good for another 3 minutes.
Thats the game I lose all my bucks on. At one time I was up to something like 6000000 barn bucks, now I live in a cardboard box.

The wife and I just got back from the real Indian casino where we paid voluntary restitution to our Native American friends.
On the upside, there was a particular slot machine that I have won quite a bit on in recent months. It was an older quarter machine with actual spinning reels. It's gone now. I consider that at least a minor victory. I took about a grand out of that sucker in my last three or four visits.

One day it was there, been somewhat frugal gambling now, don't want to blow my wad.......:D

Hard to beat a killer slot win. I only go 3 times a year because of tradeshows. I take my $400 and go when I get a jackpot or leave when it's gone.
House always wins in the long run.
This was my largest pot to date. $4k

Few years ago the wife and I went on a weekend trip to Palm Springs and hit up one of the Indian Casino's there in town. I think it was the SPA.
Anyway, Heather is a very reluctant gambler. I convinced her to go, and since we were first time visitors, the Casino gave us like 20 bucks in gambling credit each...Kinda cool.
Well Heather hit a slot for about $200 bucks, which was the first time she had won anything gambling. We ended up using it for a nice meal at the Casino Steakhouse, so they got it back, but it was basically a free meal, and it was pretty damned good too. :yesnod:

$25 machine? Baller.:yesnod::seasix:
One thing is for sure, I'm not a bigtime gambler, but I do it enough to know that the machines in Nevada pay off better than the Indian casinos in California. Comps are better, too. We are headed to Reno at the end of the month, weather permitting. We will get a free deluxe room (usually $180 per night) for two nights and pay $45 for a third night. Free buffet dinners, free drinks while gambling, and even with casual playing (we are not high rollers) will have enough points on our player cards to eat all our meals free. Free show tickets, too. Not big name shows, but something. I love the Auto Museum there, too. Indian casinos around here can't give away free drinks. ABC law won't allow it. Their food is okay and pretty cheap, though. We often go there just for lunch.

I was just goofing off in Las Vegas one evening with a coworker, after standing in a trade show booth all day. We were at the Tropicana, which isn't really very snazzy at all, and I got 10 $1 tokens to mess around with. First five I put into the dollar slot machine, nothing. Behind me was a $5 machine so I just pumped all five in and pushed the button. It hit and all these silver dollar tokens (good all over LV) started flying out. Like 800 of them. We got two buckets to carry them in. So the rest of the night was the two of us going from place to place getting hammered and paying for our food and drinks with tokens.

I miss those days of real coins/tokens. All the machines just print out a voucher now. One night in Reno, my wife, who is prone to get up at about 3:00am and go gamble for awhile came back to the room at around 4:00am and dumped about two or three buckets of quarters on me to wake me up. I think it was something like $4-500.
The only bad things about all the coins was your hands were always dirty.

I'd be kicking myself for only betting 100 bones.
I wonder if this is the only time a barner has ever hit a RF.
Datawiz may have done it a year or two ago.
