I have little interface with an operating system as mostly I just go to internet. However, I have to scan some documents sometimes and the process to me is clunky with 10. It was so easy with 7.

anyone revert back. how do you do it.

I can't imagine there is a downgrade path where you don't lose files.

If you have the install media for Windows 7, be prepared to blow away all your files. Windows 10 will be completely eradicated.

I did on my gaming PC. But it only lasts 90 days and then MS forces you to go back to 10. 10 has been an SOB. I had to update my wheel/pedal drivers (not easy) and install new hardware drivers (even more of a PITA). It reset all of my parameters in iRacing. SO I totally understand your reasoning of trying to go back to 7.

Some of you all maybe remember me bitching about win10 over the last several months...maybe a year?? at any rate I got leveraged into d/loading it on my Dell Inspiron desktop, and so it was the same disASSter it was first time around....but the first time I managed to do an uninstall and get my machine back.....well, I got a couple emails from a person I will not name, and had nothing to do with this group BTW......or the car hobby for that matter....and it drove my Office 2003 nutz....trying to repeatedly send an email reply and going into perpetual send, and I can't stop the damn thing.....eventually office just gave up and that email sat in the outbox without any further attempts to send it.....well same thing, same person, went at it again, and it tied down O 2003 to the point the program was nearly useless, I was forced to an uninstall, and just went to the ATT.net site on the browsers and took care of email that way....which went on for a couple months of aggravation.....wife trying to help best she can and to no avail......she bought me a refurb HP desktop off the .net and it's fine and we finally found our Office 2003 install disc and so up/operating as before on Win7/2003 now.....

NEVER AGAIN!!!:issues:

Sure you can do it, lose all your files and stuff, BUT....what are you going to do when you pick up some virus and find out that windows doesn't support or fix anything in 7 anymore. You're going to be S.O.L. :(

If you're stuck with Windows, you're stuck with they're bullshit. :bilmem:
