So I Got Banned from a Local News Site Comment Board

They have heavy handed moderators that delete and ban, not just for violations of TOS, which I NEVER violate, but for dissenting opinion, especially on political and social issues, and also for laughing at the horrific writing and deplorable excuses for journalism in most stories. I've seen most of the regular posters already banned and come back as similar iterations, for also NOT violating the TOS. I guess it was finally my turn.

Oh well, I guess that's the last they see of me. I won't bother creating a new ID. Sad, though, because there is a fun, core group of people who, regardless of political differences, all enjoy pointing out spelling, grammar, and basically horrific, Third World writing by the news site.

I guess now I'll have time to tackle those projects I have been procrastinating about....raking the leaves, getting the truck washed, etc.

You guys know me.....I'm opinionated, but reasonably polite. I never violated the TOS, never attacked anyone, never used profanity, etc. I may, however, have pointed out some of the horrible grammar, spelling, and overall journalism by their writers. Oh, and I did compare the deleted posts of others there to Pinochet's Argentina. Other than that, really nothing.
