Does anyone know when the preseason schedule for the Cowboys come out and more importantly how easy/hard are preseason tickets to get?
I'll be in Dallas for a conference the last week of August (8/27-30) so my hope is there is a home preseason game on either the weeken before or after. I've wanted to see the boys at home my whole life, so I'm sure hoping the stars align this coming year.

NFL schedules are normally made up and released sometime in March.

I could handle a vettebarn gathering for something like this.
that stadium is tricky, so unless you're willing to part with at least 250 a seat, even in nosebleeds, pre-season is the way to go. My son wanted to go to a game as a birthday present from me, but wanted to take satan (his mother) and his little brother. I'll be damned if im gonna spend 750 for that, i was able to snag preseason tickets for about 60 each if i recall. been a couple eyars

250 a seat what a ripoff.... I got to watch Dallas against the dolphins here at Dolphin Stadium for free..Hardrock stadium now.:seasix:

every seat in that stadium is "owned." it is sold out. anyone who has a seat actually bought a license for that seat, and they basically own it. from several thousand dollars to tens of thousands of dollars. This license gives the licensee the first right to purchase tickets for any even that takes place in the stadium. if the licensee decides he doesnt want to attend that event, then there is a clearinghouse that sells the seat to the general public for an agreed upon amount (think collusion) and the licensee is then able to profit from the sale of the seat, getting the difference between face value and sales price. I have been to a couple games there, payed 250 a seat and face value when i got the tickets was about 60. how this is legal is beyond me.
After our first game, we were hell bent on getting tickets a better way. So the following year we found out tickets went on sale at 9 am on whatever date. limit of 4 per person i think. we had several people in my office on the ready at 9 am to purchase tickets to a game. at 9 am, there were no tickets to purchase, sold out. thats when i discovered how all this works.

I still haven't been to Jerry World, and it's on my list...preseason sounds like a winner :yesnod:

60 bucks would be well worth it and assuming the schedule has a home game at that time, it looks like I'll be staying about 15 miles away :seasix:

I always wanted to go to the old Texas stadium, ideally for thanksgiving but I never made it, so I certainly don't want to miss an opportunity to go to Jerryland!
