I scored a new amp this week. A Friedman Pink Taco. Friedman amps are basically hot-rodded Marshall Plexis, only better. Hand wired, EL34 tubes.

20 watts. PLENTY loud.
I used a Zoom iOS7 iPhone mic which really helps.

My cousin is basically following your path.
After getting my Gibson, years ago, he got the bug.
His latest acquisition as of three days ago is this Gretsch hollow body.
Like you, I don't see him stopping any time soon.
The great thing about it is I can just go play a myriad of guitars at his place, anytime that I want. I just wish that I had kept my drums though.
They'd be at his place, so that we could really jam properly.
That is one killer Les Paul that you have there. The sustain seems to be endless and it sounds, for lack of a better word, right.

That's the LP I bought from Sea Six.
Someday I'd like a Gretsch White Falcon. If there's a cooler looking git I don't know what it'd be.

Your exploits with Hill-dawg are well known. This is hardly a surprise.

This little condenser mic is pretty slick. You can drive the amp and turn down the input on the mic so you don't overload the cheap ass built in mic on the phone.http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161203/f27318b401e121baf758cf8eb3a0644c.jpg

Pics of amp man!
I just bought a tube amp myself. Modded Cary audio with Cardas Caps and Hexfred diodes.

From the looks of it, he held it once and put it back in the case.
20 years old already.
Mine would have been 33.......
I don't miss it..... I still have my Takamine electric acoustic. If I do get the bug, I pick it up and go to town.
Am I in your will ??? :D

That was huge balls by the Wilson sisters, as it were. They not only performed Stairway To Heaven but for the guys who made it. The did a great job too, in my just some dumb ass that hasn't played a lick of anything opinion.

True, but that kind of cash would allow for a White Falcon AND a Black one, along with considerable cash left over.
Former celebrity ownership means nothing to me.

Ya, I'd pay endless money for the guitar that Joe Walsh gave to Jimmy Page.
You know, the Les Paul that he always uses.

It sounds like a Theremin.
There probably hasn't been a guitar that's been dissected to the degree the LP has. I wonder what'll happen to it?? Hopefully it won't end up in someones private collection.

I would say , hopefully it'll end up in some rock stars collection, who will bring it out at a concert occasionally, and jam with it.
Otherwise, it'll sit in a room for no one to ever see again.
