This is what it looks like when a real dumbass plays with electric. If you don't know WTF your doing, PAY SOMEONE that does...

Outlet wired from a junction just stuffed in the wall. Guess I should be glad they at least used wire nuts. 14/2 to 10/2 :beat:

Box reinstalled properly and outlet wired correctly. Yes I know it was upside down...

Contractor that built the house used migrant labor. That wiring job was totally to Mexican code.
