Thanks for posting this! Hillsboro is an easy drive from here... The car show is in June next year and putting it on the calendar.

Very nice, but Texas memorabilia from the 40's & 50's? I guess Bubba stores the "No Colored" & "Whites Only" signs in the back room. :Jeff '79:

(I lived in Longview, TX, in 1958-59)

Bubba?

So, let's take Mr. Estes' hobby & good work and make it into a racist issue?

THAT is why racism is alive and well, and will never go away.

Happy now?

It doesn't go away by ignoring it; better to acknowledge it & learn from it.

And what does your astute & learned observation regarding my comment have to do with whether I'm "happy now"?

(EDIT: I'll respectfully withdraw my "Bubba" comment, as I certainly don't know the man, and it may be offensive to some. It was stereotyping based on my time there, and a few experiences since.)

I suspect you know full well what I meant, as you are obviously quite comfortable with stereotypes.

Further explanation would be a waste of time.
