Once upon a time, me and a buddy went to a fireworks factory while we were stationed in the Philippines. We bought all kinds of stuff. I ended up with one of those big brown grocery sacks that I filled for $25. My buddy ended up with a similar stuffed brown bag. Just about everything we had would be illegal here in the US. The important part, we had a lot of fun. I only got scared by the baby dynamite. :omg::leaving:

My cousin brought some artillery simulators back from Ft. Knox after his gig in the Army.
If the long whistle didn't scare you, the BOOM sure did.

Back in the 60-70's a buddy had a whole closet full of high power fireworks....

M80's, etc......I remember we screwing off out at my folks place, out in the country one day....and the neighbors started replying, we brought out some rifles, pistols, etc......a few daze later we built a pipe bomb, which was the END of the war of escalation.......we set it off behind the wood pile, the fuse was extended off an M80 which was the primer....it went into gunpowder then.......steel pipe just over an inch diameter and a foot long, steel caps......

Do that shit today, in that location, and they calling out MAJOR .mil response units....there is a cop shop maybe 1/2 mile away......:rofl::issues:
