I've heard rumors all year, but is the Pontiac Firebird/GTO/Judge actually going into production?

I'm guessing it will be done by one of the aftermarket tuners.

Didn't Pontiac die years ago?

Since it's November & 2017 models are already out, I'd say no. GM wouldn't be the one to do it anyways since they killed off Pontiac. :island14:

The car you pictured is made by Trans Am Depot & is called the 6T9. 2014 Trans Am Depot 6T9 GTO - Here Comes The Judge - HPP - Hot Rod Network (http://www.hotrod.com/articles/2014-trans-am-depot-6t9-gto-judge/)

By the way, that's an impressive model car at 1:18 scale. Amazing detail on the CMC cars.

The car you pictured is horrific.

Fixt.

Reading that article, you have to ask yourself how much they were paid to say nice things about that piece of shit.

I have read that in CAR sales ONLY, Poncho outsold Chebby.....but of course if you added in the trucks.....different story....I can't see why they kept Buick over Poncho.....Buick is an old farts badge driven by gray hairs all over Florida and when my generation is gone...no more customers except in CHINA......

I was a Poncho fan for decades....my best one was the last of the breed....I put DPFI on a 455 engine 400 trand 12 bolt Chevelle rear 321 posi of course.....

rag top, and as a toss off on all the european imports SO POPULAR around Wash DC....all that 320e, 123x all that meaningless shit on the back right of the trunk lid.....I had decals saying CDLV on the back lid stood for 455 in Roman Numerals.....about 3 people EVER got what it meant......

car was a rag top, with hitch....called the rig, the goat and the boat.....had the kids every other weekend for some years, headed out I270 then I70 past Fredrick Md.....go in towing the boat with kids in back g/f on pass seat...and 10% grade about 4 miles worth, start in at ~80 mph and topping 100 under the Appalachian trail......550 ft lbs at idle.......

car was featured in the Lemans issue of High Performance Pontiac Mag....Feb '95 issue....for the injection which came off a Caddy engine....I learned a LOT from that conversion.....I still have the induction setting on the shelf......

As far as the last of the Pontiac breed, it went out in a whimper as the 2.5L 4 cylinder in the 82 Firebird. After that, there were no more Pontiac powered firebirds, ever. They are all chevy powered.
