The Difference Between Guts and Balls

We've heard colleagues referring to people with "Guts", or with "Balls". Do you, however, know the difference between them?

Here's the official distinction; straight from the British Medical Journal: Volume 323; page 295.

GUTS - Is arriving home late, after a night out with the lads, being met by your wife with a broom, and having the "Guts" to ask:
"Are you still cleaning, or are you flying somewhere?"

BALLS - Is coming home late after a night out with the lads, smelling of perfume and beer, lipstick on your collar, slapping your
wife on the bum and having the "Balls" to say: 'You're next, Chubby.'

I trust this clears up any confusion.

Medically speaking, there is no difference in the outcome , as both are fatal.

My brother-in-laws uncle was a guy that had been known to play around....one night he comes home and his wife is at the door with a baseball bat ! She demands he drop his pants.....gets on her knees and smells his junk ! Gets up and cracked his head open !...:willy: :eek:

My high school science teacher slept with the school secretary, and his wife waited until he was asleep and then pounded him two handed, full in the face with a cast iron frying pan. Broke his nose, both orbits and his jaw with one hit. She spent a night in jail, he spent two weeks in hospital, during which she moved out of the house after making some interesting renovation choices with his possessions. Apparently they found a set of golf clubs "woven into the stair banisters"... the whole set.

Thing is, wife was HAWT, secretary was heinous. Never got that...
