Very funny indeed :Jeff '79:
what's wrong with being an organ donor? i am one (i wouldn't recommend the heart though, it's in need of some overhaul, might work short term though).

All my parts are passed expiration, I don't think anyone would want them or be of any use......
Been one ever since the DMV had acknowledged on the drivers license. I'm certainly not going to need anything if it gets to that point.

:iagree: I have it officially on my driver's license now.
Maybe I could help somebody once I'm done with.

Think about it, at least a part of you would still be alive and kicking.
Not a bad thought.

I've remained alive for the past 36 years due to an organ donation.

I'm an organ donor, I figure I won't be needing those items and if it could help somebody then good.
If they need my liver though, they better look someplace else! :Jeff '79:

I've always liked the idea of being an organ donor and have filled out my card. BUT with the stipulation that the organs do not go for education or research purposes, ONLY transplant. I had to write that in as there was no option like that. The idea of a bunch of students dissecting my parts doesn't appeal to me much.
You should be proud of your wife Charles. :yesnod:

I have always thought that we might need all our parts in the here after.
I've always been a donor, since I got my first license. I figure if theres anything worth a shit left, let em have it.
I'm a donor and a marrow donor. I hope one day I can donate and save someone.

I just cant do it, call me what you wish i want to even though i will be dead i still want to be whole, the wife is a donor and while i disagree with it, i find it very upsetting indeed, and she also wants to be cremated, thats my answer and i am sticking to it, sorry if i offended donors

My "donor" is still alive after all these years. Spends a lot of time golfing & competitive shooting; all with one of his kidneys removed back in 1980.
