Finished it today, took it to the range and ran a few mags through it. Very happy so far. I started with a Delaware Machine lower and then used a Bushmaster LPK, a Bushmaster stock and a USGI pre-ban magazine.
I was in the process of sourcing parts for my bare upper but took a ride to Remsport Manufacturing, a custom gun shop that manufactures 1911's and AR's. It has a Remsport M4 receiver and barrel, pinned and welded brake, carbine handguards and fixed sights with standard gas rail setup. My other AR is a flat top, nose heavy, bull barrel with a scope so I wanted an iron sight carbine. Two of my friends tried it out and loved it.

looks good. You could use that for NRA High Power competition.

Also, a little extra grease in the spring tube reduces the "boing" from the spring ( if that bothers you )

Looks geat! I guess having that pinned muzzle break and no bayonet lug makes it a much less dangerous weapon as far as the morangs in your state government!

Bayonetings have gone down by 6000% since the ban.
