YouTube- Enzo/Vette/Busa on Runway

During our tests at the Mojave Air and Space Port, we ran the Enzo against a supercharged Corvette. At 2,600 feet, the Corvette was very fast, maybe even faster than a Veyron. Throttle response was instant as you can hear in the video. The first part was from the turbocharged Suzuki Hayabusa. The second part was from the Corvette.

From the Corvette owner: 414 Stroked Built LS3 Motor, Novi 2000 Paxton Supercharger with Meth injection, Built tranny with lower G-force 5th and 6th gears, bult Unitrax Quaife 373 diff, Mcloed duel disk clutch, Custon fuel and aftercooler setup, Brembos and coilovers, etc.

The car is right around 800 RWHP.

oh man will have to check this out when i get home....i know how well my turbo Busa excelerates I would expect this Busa to alk away form those cars but you never know...

This Corvette excelerates faster.

Not taking away from that Vette but the turbo busa must have been a baby busa similar to mine, I have seen 500+hp busa on those full tilt videos dragging bumpers off big turbo supra and other exotics but that vette was definantly rippin thru the gears!

Guys, I'm not sure the 'Busa was in the hunt. I'm thinking it was a camera bike... you'd think he could keep up with the Enzo though... *shrug*

My Z has close to 800 rwhp.

There is no way in hell it would beat a turbo Busa. Gary Javo's TT GTS viper "walked" one, and he was putting down 1300rwhp.

I think the busa was around 280rwhp.

A 500rwhp Busa....................forget it...Not gonna happen

I was thinking one was a camera bike and one was actually in the race. That said, I've seen 290-ish rwhp Busa's run sub 9's @ 160mph and find it hard to believe that one wouldn't have done better than in that video. With a longer distance to run, I'd think a higher hp Busa would be able to really capitalise if the rider can get keep a handle on the wheelie/wheelspin equation.
