There's something in the water in that part of the world. We're all to familiar with ISIS's "No Boundaries" torture and terror techniques. Asad and Sadaam used many of the same techniques- except behind closed doors. The young man in question here is likely some persecuted minority that ISIS has brainwashed/trained. Some of these kids are likely to surface as refugees (like this kid). There's something to think about.

Not exempt from this conversation are our "allies" the Saudis, who cheerfully behead and remove other limbs... just not in front of a camera. Makes the Iranians seem downright civilized by comparison- they simply hang the miscreants. Moving further east, the Afghans have been notorious for some truly awful torture techniques... for centuries. There's some good reasons why Afghanistan hasn't been bothered until recent years with foreign occupation. First, there's nothing there anyone really wants- a pile of dirt, rocks, and a truly terrible climate. Second- the people put the "B" in the word brutal. The Russians learned this lesson first hand.
