At an established shop? $150 per tierod and an hour of labor at $75 an hour so $375 plus tax here in the US add another $125 for an alignment? Although if they're looking at the boom they're charging full labor for each tierod so maybe 2hrs labor, bringing the total to $450?

Guess I didn't do too badly then....40$ for both inners (not the top of the line, but the parts guy told me that Moog now comes from China as well so you pay $$$ for the name), and 80$ labour.....so out the door for 120$ including tax on parts. took him all of an hour to do both sides. thanks for the input. I'm thinking that there's a wide variation between years, models, and makes of pickup repair costs.....some really pricey to fix and some not.
