Got a letter from the city codes enforcement office today. They said I have ten days to do something about the "disabled vehicles" in my driveway.
The felons in question are my '97 Tbird with 75k (under the cover), my red '99 G20t with 165k I got last Monday, Rita's '01 I30 with 155k, and not in the mug shot is the '97 Firebird on the other side of the house (covered) and the '91 Lebaron (68k) purchased a couple of weeks ago I had at work.
Bear in mind all are tagged and insured, driven occasionally, except for the Firebird. That's the one my daughter wants when she comes back into town the first week of next month.
I usually rotate them out about once a month or so. Guess I will have to call and tell them that if they keep checking they will see that they are moved around.8193
Send the city a letter stating that the cars are handi-capable, not disabled.

Park 'm in the street.
Pretend you're having an eternal party and tell them to go pound salt.
So which neighbor blew you in?
It's your driveway. :slap:
And if they were parked in the street, as long as they are licensed and insured, it shouldn't matter how often they are driven.
I'm glad I have 15 acres to hide my fleet. One car, one truck.

Bear in mind all are tagged...
In my area, that helps - but only if the tags with current stickers can be seen from the road (showing proof that they are not abandoned or disabled) during a drive-by of the county/city/township enforcement dude.
You could turn them around to expose their current plates to the road; or park them behind your house... out of view.

Probably a neighbor complaint.
Years ago, I owned a rental house in a crappy area. Every house on the street probably had code violations. I got a letter from the town saying that some paint was peeling on the place, and it was in violation of one or another of their silly municipal codes. I called the town, and basically asked "Are you kidding me?" The woman I spoke with was sympathetic, and said a neighbor had complained, so they had to send me that letter.
I essentially ignored it, & never heard another thing. I repainted the place, but it was probably a year later.
So my suggestion is to ignore it. :cert:

That middle strip stays like that. We drive across it to turn around so as not to back out into the road. High traffic on our road. It was gravelled but has been packed down over the years.
Remind them kindly that you live in Tennessee like they do.

How do you think Canada pays for all that nationalized health care?
Must be nice to know that all crime in your town has been handled and law enforcement can focus on stuff like this.

Only one that wasn't is the red G20. I just got it three days before. Either that one or the Firebird will be my daughter's when she moves back in a few weeks. May have to go ahead and register it anyway to be safe.
Just to be an azz I now have covers on three of them.:BADRACR1::DAB:

Ahhh, the thick plottens...
Sounds to me like your fleet grew significantly recently (LeBaron/G20), and in the process you heartlessly kicked sand into someone's vagina. Asshole.

I also sold the 95 Lebaron to a friend. Same amount of vehicles as before.

Now you're a used car lot. I'm going to report you, so you're gonna have to get the right licensing, and shit.

They are bitching about 3 friggin cars in your driveway?
That's just a starter kit, we have 8 cars and a Wells Cargo trailer in our garage/carport/driveway.
To be fair though, our driveway is in the back of the house (off the alley), and we have a sliding privacy gate.

Three in the drive, one on the other side, one I was driving, and one we leave at the house in FL. So only five there.
