Out in the back yard last night and I hear "meow, meow, meow, etc." Sure enough, a little kitten is stuck down in the storm drain behind my house. After about a half hour, I got the kitten to walk into a bucket with cat food in it and pulled her up. Mom is still with me while her house gets renovated from the tax day flooding we had here, so she took care of it until today, when we dropped it off at the local pound.

Assuming she's healthy, they said they can keep her for a while. I didn't bother trying to find a home for her, because, well, that's how I ended up with Fuzzball, and Mom can't take care of two cats, even though I think she would have liked to try.

You do know that all "pound " animals get registered as Democratic voters
It is your duty to prevent her from voting multiple times for HRC by taking her home and letting her become Fuzzball's BFF.

Get her back out of the pound before she becomes Chinese food.

Did the cat really say "etc."?

Maybe? My Cat is a little rusty. I'm more fluent in Dog.

Whatever it was she was going on and on about had the desired result, I guess....she didn't die down there, alone in the storm sewer. Hopefully she makes it out of the shelter. She is a cutie. She purred when Mom held her and was timid but inquisitive.
