iPad 2 Arrives Friday; Reviews Positive
Apple's iPad 2 tablet will arrive in stores at 5 p.m. Friday, and initial reviews of the device are mostly positive.
In the Wall Street Journal, Walter Mossberg wrote that "I like it a lot," while noting that it is "evolutionary rather than revolutionary." He said that Apple is still at the head of the tablet race, but did not advise that owners of the first one rush out to buy the new one.
The New York Times' David Pogue touted the improvements in the device's thinness and lightness, pointing out that the Motorola Xoom looks "obese" by comparison. He also predicted that Apple will continue to dominate the tablet market.
