Nothing else comes close-- it kicks the everliving snot out of the Xoom and the original iPad in terms of 3D gaming.

A few other notes-- I installed Garage Band on my current iPad, and I'm impressed! It even runs pretty well on the original iPad. You really need some sort of external audio device to get full use out of the audio recording (hence the USB camera kit). Velocity sensitivity works mostly OK, and there's a slight bit of lag on the drums which I assume will be significantly better on the iPad2.


BTW I ordered the 16GB Wifi black model. In retrospect I kinda wish I went with white, but oh well. It's supposed to ship next week. My philosophy is to get the cheapest model so I don't feel so bad about upgrading on each new generation. :lol:

Oh I know there will be readily available in a few weeks once the launch newness wears off but this thing is a MUST for all the air travel I do. I hate to say it but I don't know what I am going to do without it.
