nope.

i'm pretty sure a connection of 1" PVC between the tank outlet and the yard bib has failed. it's only 6 feet of distance, but it's about 3-1/2 feet down. so much digging awaits me monday.

once i find the break (likely a small crack), i'm inclined to replace the rigid PVC with some flexible PEX. they make sharkbite fittings that can connect both.

1. dig
2. locate and remove problem area
3. go shopping and get replacement parts
4. fix the leak
5. fill the hole back in.

anyone want to help?

anyone????

I see that.....all of the eastern seaboard is bracing for the storm.

Beautiful day around here, but it's going to be a little cool tonight, down to 10c/50F tonight, but back up for the long weekend.

I see up to 2 million would be travelers will be changing plans or enduring long waits this weekend. Bad timing.

YES.
We re-rig our Aircraft quite often depending on the mission. Pax configuration is all the seats installed. A total of 121 pasengers:

When we put in a COMBI rig, we take out the first 9 rows of seats and install a cargo section.

Funny Caturday pics Robbie!

If I was closer I'd come help you, Doug! Doing some yard work myself this weekend. Gotta finish my Jacuzzi flower bed, trim, edge and mow!

Chuck, enjoy your 12 pack. Hope you do not get too much flooding and high winds!

Are those cargo doors on all the planes, even the strictly passenger jets? never noticed them before, but wouldn't really be looking for them either.....

Any damage from the winds Charles?

Most airlines do not have cargo doors on their passenger jets. Cargo planes and military planes do. The Navy requested these cargo doors on their 737's so it could preform a multitude of jobs. Most bang for the tax payers buck!

Threw my back out again

Christ, this annoying as hell. Didn't sleep and getting up was hell this morning. It'll keep me from getting anything major done for a week or so.
And I had work that I desperately wanted to get done on the cowshed/run-out this weekend. What pisses me off is that I threw it out putting
up a jar of relish in the fridge. It slipped and I jerked to catch it, and I was already bent over and turned toward the fridge door.

When I built the shed, I raised walls, built and hung trusses, and hung a roof BY MYSELF; and I throw out my back putting up a fuggen jar of relish.
Not even going to bother going to the doc, this is nothing new.
Gripe..gripe..grumble...grumble.....

Beside pain meds, does ice pack and or heating pad help any?

Someone is trying to tell you you've done enough for now and it's time to relax this Labor Day!

Besides the fun little fuzzy-feely you get from the meds, they really don't do anything. May take the edge off a bit, but make you feel kind of thick, and then you have deal with a crappy mini-hangover when they wear off. Heating pad feels good, but doesn't really do anything. I've got to get out there and do some work, fall is coming and I need the cowshed cleaned up and ready to store hay. I do have a great way of dealing with it though; when no one is looking, I whimper like a little girl.

I've had a back like that all my life due to a malformed disc. I've got it down pat now when it goes out.... with a few simple spine realignment exercises. I stand with feet shoulder width apart and just hang forward towards the floor....then I twist at the waist to one side and then to the other from the waist, gently at first then a little more of a tug in each direction. Maybe 10 times each way. Before long I'm hanging a lot farther towards the floor, like touching my toes! This lines up my spine until the next time it goes out. try it.

another is to lie flat and pull your knees to your chest one at a time, then both....does the same sort of thing....straightens the spine.
