Default Just my luck
We were following a C3 on Interstate 20 Saturday while on a cruise to Columbia SC with 23 other vettes,well at 70 mph the glass out of the roof panel of the C3 let go ,flew some 40 ft up like a kite and came down 5 ft in front of me,the glass shattered into a thousand pieces of shrapnel destroying the carbon fiber splitter,bumper cover, grill,damaged the hood and both fenders top and cracked the windshield. I went to a body shop for an estimate and it will cost $8100 to repair,that includes new splitter,grill,headlights,foglights,and windshield,paint the bumper cover,two fenders hood and roof lid,the headlights alone were$2200.great way to spend a Saturday.

Yea the C3 insurance should cover it but when he got the estimate he told me they will send an adjuster over to take pictures,I told him good luck it's like taking pictures of measelles.

I had that happen in my C3 and no one believed me when I told them the unreal lift that thing got. I know it easily went 3-4 stories up. Thankfully it didn't hit anyone or anything.

Anybody we know in the C3?

I lost a T-top panel out of my Camaro once at about 80mph. It was amazing how high that mofo went. Luckily it took a right turn somewhere along the way and landed out in the grass beside the highway.
