The whole waiting 30 years to pile on and throw someone under the bus is bullshit. If something happened, it should have been brought up near the time it happened. Waiting well past the statute of limitations, and not even having enough evidence for a civil case, just to pop up and try to ruin a 77 year old man's career is attention whorish and quite frankly probably not the first whorish thing they've done.

For the record actual rape and sexual assault is a very serious crime, it's an equally serious allegation. However all too often embarrassment and regret lead to allegations of rape/assault and a person gets drug through the mud trying to clear them selves and is often unable ever completely wash that mud off.

that's the confusing part; once he decided to settle out of court with that one lady... apparently it didn't register to him that he should just sit back and retire, for good.
