This. The only change in airport security needed after 9-11 was to tell the private screeners that box cutters are no longer allowed in carry on bags. That's it. Instead, what did we get? Government expansion and such shitty treatment at the airport that flying ceased to be fun, and more like a humiliating struggle session.
