It’s already pretty much beyond the point where we can’t tell if audio/video is real or not.

So I’m wondering when that type of forensic evidence will eventually be admissible in the future, whether to convict or to exonerate someone?

That was close to my stomping grounds back in the day. Was pretty much a Jewish community. Appears the blacks have taken over that area like most of Baltimore and the surrounding CDP's.
