Default Gotta new gun!
Sunday there was a gun show here in town. Sadly, I could not find anything I had to have. However Sunday night I found a Springfield XD40 Tactical, 2006 model, with factory equipped Trijicon sights. I got it for $400!




Ah, but wait! I showed it to a guy I know today and he traded me this:

1) A Phoenix HP22 with less than a hundred rounds through it. I love these lil' popguns. I've had three so far. I sold one last week for $150. He was asking $125 for this one.


2) And a 1973 S&W 38 Special CTG with the Bull barrel, a Hogue Monogrip, and the original walnut grips! He was asking $375 for it.




3) I also got $175 cash!

This sucker is like a good woman - clean and tight!

Seriously, it's in great shape. Grooves in the barrel are sharp, and the cylinder has little marking as you can see in the pics. The wood grips show no wear as well. I'm thinkin' I might take it to the range and try it out in a couple of weeks.

I almost got an XDM9 last week. Was gonna trade my G19 Gen IV for it. They shoot great. Very comfortable weapon. Congrats!

They are a lot different from an XD. Handle and slide have a different shape.
