I would like to see how they respond to a discrimination lawsuit. While it doesn't look like the HOA is involved, enforcing rules against some residents, but not all, is asking for it.

I won't bore you with a legal opinion, but there is lots of precedent that unenforced covenants are eventually deemed waived by the HOA. Anway, my next door neighbor, who is a rich ass doctor, began erecting a workshop/storage building behind his house. It was 25' feet from my property line; covenants call for 50'. I told him to tear the s.o.b. down, and he did.

His excuse: "I didn't think anybody would care." I do.

I BET it's not the houses themselves in non compliance, but some shack/shed/or maybe an addition, even a driveway that is in non compliance...
